Sarah Cole

Bio

Sarah Cole is a senior science editor, writer and communicator for the CGIAR GENDER Accelerator. She also freelances via her own business, Fig Tree Communication.

Sarah is passionate about helping people transform their specialist knowledge into something other people can clearly understand and act on. She helps researchers find their message, and works out how to explain it elegantly and well.

Sarah studied neuroscience and psychology, then earned a master's in both science communication; and writing, editing and publishing. She then developed her skills and expertise at the renowned consultancy Econnect Communication.

Specialty fields of editing and writing Sarah has worked in are: agriculture, climate, environment, natural resource management, health and interpretation.
