Bio

Dr. Rahma Adam is a Senior Scientist and Social Economic Inclusion Impact Lead at WorldFish. She has worked as a Gender and Development Specialist at International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT), a Research Fellow at Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and International Potato Center (CIP), World Bank Group Fellow in the Education unit in Africa Region, a Researcher for the Mo Ibrahim Index of African Governance at Harvard University and a Researcher at Partners AIDS Research Center. Adam has conducted research and development work in Africa, Asia and the US. Adam holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from Macalester College, a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University, and a PhD degree in Rural Sociology from Pennsylvania State University, USA.
