Brenda Gwada is a Research Officer with WorldFish, with expertise in Environmental Science and Fisheries. She is skilled in spearheading impactful initiatives in research, training and capacity building, and project management. Brenda also supports organisations in advancing their gender and social inclusion, Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG), agendas and has co-authored more than five peer-reviewed publications. Her work is dedicated to addressing gender inequalities, environmental concerns and supporting green business enterprises in areas such as pollution, waste management, and climate change, resulting in cutting-edge research and innovative solutions that directly benefit rural and vulnerable communities, women, and youth.
