ILRI and science responding to a changing world

Abstract

This paper discusses how ILRI responds to changes and challenges and illustrates the collaboration scheme of ILRI with its partners, including farmers, communities, NARS, regional networks, and private sector. It also outlines researchable areas which include feeds, genetic stock disease diagnosis, vaccines, and vector control. Holistic nature of ILRI research and opportunities for small holders is also illustrated.
