Data in Emergencies (DIEM) Monitoring System - Household Survey 2022: Round 5 (Zimbabwe)

Abstract

The FAO has developed a monitoring system in 26 food crisis countries to better understand the impacts of various shocks on agricultural livelihoods, food security and local value chains. The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). he Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) launched a household survey in Zimbabwe through the Data in Emergencies Monitoring (DIEM-Monitoring) System to monitor agricultural livelihoods and food security. The survey commenced on 3 September 2022 and was resumed on 26 September 2022. The random sample of 1,441 households was representative at the administrative level 1 for eight of provinces.
