Theophile Mudenge
Rural Development and Agribusiness ExpertBio
Theophile Mudenge is a rural development and agribusiness expert with over 20 years of experience designing and managing market development programs across Africa. He currently provides technical leadership and strategic oversight for a portfolio of 70 Public-Private Partnerships under the 2SCALE programme, supporting inclusive youth-led agribusinesses across nine countries. His work focuses on promoting employment and entrepreneurship among young women and men, with a reach of over 750,000 smallholder farmers. Theophile previously served as a Program Manager and Senior Market Development Advisor at CRS, where he led youth employment programs impacting 40,000 rural youth. He has also held leadership roles as Country Director and Program Manager in various development organizations. Theophile holds a degree in Rural Development and Agribusiness and is currently pursuing a Master’s in International Development Practice.
