Lou Lefort

Bio

Lou Lefort has extensive experience in international cooperation and development work, particularly in gender transformation and agribusiness.  

Since March 2022, Lou Lefort has been an advisor for the regional project Agri-Business Facility for Africa (ABF) where she advises on scaling and implementing training approaches such as FBS, PBS, CBS, and Gender Makes Business Sense+ (GmBS+) in various value chains in Africa. She supports GIZ projects, partner organizations like other GIZ Projects or ENABEL, and multi-stakeholder projects within the Matching Grant Fund (MGF) competition. Additionally, she develops capacity development approaches like GMBS+ and blended learning for ATVET partners, supports the digitalization strategy, and develops e-learning modules.  

Since January 2024, Lou Lefort has been the Co-Speaker of the SNRD Gender Transformative Working Group at GIZ.
