Webinar Series: Gender responsive Climate Information Services: Evidence and Insights from the Field
The CGIAR Gender Equality and Inclusion Accelerator, as a part of its work on Leveraging Evidence to inform gender-responsive policy and practice across agrifood systems, is curating evidence and insights on design and delivery of Gender-Responsive Climate Information Services (CIS) to reduce gender inequalities and strengthen the adaptive capacities of women and men across food, land, and water systems.
As part of this effort, case studies were invited from organizations working in this area to document strategies underpinning successful interventions, and lessons. We are organising a three-part webinar series on 'Gender-Responsive Climate Information Services' to showcase some of these cases - the first session on 4th November 2025, second on 11th November 2025 and the third on 18th November 2025.
Register here.
The series will feature presentations on selected case studies that illustrate practical examples of inclusive CIS design and delivery, explore what works and under what conditions, and convene researchers, practitioners, and other stakeholders to exchange experiences. These discussions will contribute to distilling insights that can inform CIS interventions to become gender-responsive for more inclusive and effective climate action.
